Why I Started The Freckled Apothecary: A Journey of Healing and Love

Starting The Freckled Apothecary wasn’t just a business decision—it was a deeply personal journey rooted in love, care, and a commitment to healing.

When my son was still a baby, we faced a challenge that no parent ever expects. His immune system was compromised before he even turned one, and as any parent would, I wanted to do everything in my power to help him heal. I knew that I had to take control of his health and support his body in every way possible.

I began researching and experimenting with natural methods, focused on boosting his immune system and healing him from the inside out. Every step of the way, I was determined to provide him with the best care, using ingredients from nature to nourish his body. One thing I created was a healing body butter that I called Tori’s Tallows—a blend of natural ingredients infused with intention and love.

This body butter wasn’t just a product—it was a labor of love. As I crafted each batch, I would speak healing intentions into it, hoping to amplify its power and effectiveness. Over time, I saw amazing results in my son’s health, and I knew deep down that this wasn’t something to keep to myself. I had to share this creation with the world.
